Stonesfield Open Gardens is 2pm – 5pm on Sunday 23rd June 2024; (gardens stay open until 5.30pm).

We have eleven private gardens open to the public, many which have never been previously open. Additionally there are two gardens which are publicly accessible which are currently maintained by Gardening Club volunteers.

There is a wide variety on show including

 – Relaxed planting with flowers and wildflowers, fruit and vegetables, small wildlife pond, sculptures and a secret garden.

The tarmac has now been replaced by a small pond, an organic vegetable garden, fruit trees, a rockery, a kitchen garden, and a greenhouse.

– Stepped gardens with shrub and herbaceous borders, wildflower orchard, fruit cages and kitchen garden.

Well-established garden with trees, shrubs and flowers. There is an ornamental stream that flows into a wildlife pond. 

All are within easy walking distance and most are wheelchair friendly.

Entry is £6 per person (accompanied children under 16 are not charged). Last ticket sale at 5pm. PAYMENT BY CASH OR CARD.

Teas, cakes, plants and gardening books are also for sale at St James’ Centre.

Limited car parking is available at Stonesfield Primary School, opposite St James’ Centre. Additional disabled parking is also available at one garden that is on an unmade track (see map when purchasing tickets).
