Sunday June 30th arrived and so did the sun. It was a glorious day for Stonefield Open Gardens, sunny but without the baking heat of the day before.
Over 200 people took advantage of the summer weather and explored the selection of eleven gardens that were open for the afternoon. All the walking and the attractive plants encouraged them to have tea and cake , plus buy plants, at the St James’ Centre.
As a consequence the day raised over £1,250!
Our thanks go to everyone who pruned, weeded, baked, served, took money and generally made the day possible.
