On Monday 9 December we held our annual social and quiz, prepared by Suzy Boardman and Sybil Barton. There was a good turnout despite the inclement weather and Storm Darragh.
Unfortunately Suzy was unwell but Sybil was a great quizmaster. She led us through a fiendish set of questions showing us props such as dried plants and seed packets. The committee had prepared mulled wine and nibbles to feed the brains while tackling the task (and doing a lot of nattering).
We worked in table groups and were surprised how good our collective knowledge was. Prizes of wine and chocolates were given to the three highest scoring tables.
