On Monday 4th October 2021 the Gardening Club held its first live talk since March 2020. It was good to be back in the St James’ Centre amongst friends.
We were delighted to welcome Rob Jacobs from Waterperry https://www.waterperrygardens.co.uk who has spoken to the Gardening Club before. Rob has been at Waterperry since the 1970s and has a wealth of knowledge to share on a wide range of gardening topics.
In this talk Rob gave us ideas on propagation. First he showed us the tools we need and tips on growing media. He then took us through the gardening year detailing what can be done each month, with live demonstrations, to increase our stock of plants… for free.
Questions were answered, lots of notes were taken and we came away with renewed vigour.
