On Monday 9 September the Gardening Club had a talk from Rosy Hardy of Hardy’s Plants.
Rosy brought with her a range of plants suitable for encouraging pollinators throughout the year. She made clear pollinators were not just bees but wasps, flies, moths and the insects. She took us through the plants’ origins, growth style, flowering and preferred location providing us with many fascinating insights into encouraging wildlife in the garden with attractive planting.

At the end plants were for sale and were snapped up by eager Gardening Club members… Rosy had a much empty van on the way home!

Hardy’s nursery is in Hampshire so we were very grateful she had taken the time to visit Stonesfield.
