At February’s meeting, Rob Jacobs gave a well-illustrated, lively and informative talk that included various amusing experiences from his career at Waterperry Gardens from teenage intern to head gardener. He also passed on a number of helpful hints on pruning, staking and planting for seasonal interest. It was pleasing to note that there were 33 in the audience this time; even more than usual!
The next meeting will be on Monday 12 March at 7.30pm in the St James’ Centre. Our speaker will be Timothy Walker on ‘Colour in a small garden’.
